How to obtain your dongle ID:

Each dongle has an identifier stored inside it that uniquely identifies the dongle – it is NOT printed on the outside of the dongle. A dongle ID consists of only digits. There are several ways to obtain it.

When you have Intella, Intella Connect or W4 installed:

Option 1

  • Plug in the dongle.
  • Launch Intella or W4.
  • The Dongle ID is shown in the bottom left corner of the Case Manager window.

Option 2

  • Plug in the dongle.
  • Click on Start and enter “Dongle Manager” in the search field. Launch this application.
  • When the Dongle Manager cannot be found, you can typically find it in the folder where your product is installed, e.g. C:\Program Files\Vound\Intella 2.3.1
  • The Dongle ID is now shown in the green box.

Option 3

  • Log in as administrator on your Intella Connect application.
  • Click on “admin” in the top right corner.
  • Select “About Intella Connect”.
  • Click “Generate report”.
  • Open the downloaded report in a text editor.
  • The dongle ID is shown on the line that starts with “Dongle info:”.

Option 4

  • Plug in the dongle.
  • Open http://localhost:1947/_int_/devices.html in a web browser.
  • Locate the table row that has “HASP HL …” in the Key Type column.
  • The dongle ID is shown in the Key ID column.

When you do NOT have any Vound products installed:

Option 5

  • If you are a new customer and have just received your dongle, you would have received a flash drive in the package. On this drive is a file named .txt. In this text file you will find the download link for the installer.

Option 6

  • Your invoice will list your dongle ID(s)

Option 7

  • Download the Sentinel Runtime ZIP file.
  • Extract and run the HASPUserSetup.exe in it. This installs the driver for your dongle.
  • Plug in the dongle.
  • Open http://localhost:1947/_int_/devices.html on the machine holding the dongle.
  • Locate the table row that has “HASP HL …” in the Key Type column.
  • The dongle ID is shown in the Key ID column.
